What is Oozfest?
Oozfest is one of the largest double-elimination mud-volleyball tournaments in North America - 16 courts running simultaneously throughout the day - and held every spring at UB with over 1,000 players, volunteers, and spectators. 

Every April, 128 teams compete in Oozfest. The teams and volunteers consist of UB students and alumni, as well as members of the Buffalo community. This all day event involves not only volleyball but food, music, special events, and contests with great prizes.

Why Oozfest?
Oozfest started in 1984 as a way to break up stress before spring exams and to bring the University together.  At that time there were sixteen teams and 2 courts.  Now there are 128 teams playing double-elimination in 16 courts!

Who runs it?
UB students from the University Student Alumni Board (USAB), the student affiliate of the UB Alumni Association

25th Anniversary!!!

How do I register?
You can either download a form above or register online. Registration forms and payment must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday, April 3rd in either of the following ways:

(1) In person at our table in the Student Union lobby 9am—4pm, March 23-27 or March 30-April 3.   Cash or check in person.
(2) Online at www.alumni.buffalo.edu/usab.   Credit card payments are only accepted for online registration.

Registration forms will NOT be accepted by mail.
Please make checks payable to: “University Student Alumni Board”
Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will be limited to 128 teams!!

To ensure your team’s spot, be sure to drop off your registration at least two days prior to the registration deadline as we usually have all slots filled by the end of the day Thursday, if not earlier.  We do keep waiting lists, but best to get your team registration in early! 

What is the cost?
$150 Dollars (U.S.) per team= $18.75 per player (8 players per team)
$21.50 per player (7 players per team)
$25.00 per player (6 players per team)
Minimum of six (6), maximum of eight (8) players per team

Each Player Receives: Breakfast, lunch, program, t-shirt, and gifts from Oozfest sponsors.
Each Team Receives:  At least two games of mud volleyball.

Various other events and contests will be held throughout the day with more opportunities to win prizes!

$10 of each team registration will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of WNY!
