In keeping with our mission of maintaining tradition and spirit, the UB Alumni Association and USAB began what will hopefully become a yearly Homecoming Weekend tradition called "Dodge-Bull". Dodge ball has been regaining its popularity in recent years and especially since the movie Dodge ball: A True Underdog Story was released. It took place on Friday October 6th, 2006 on the new Homecoming field between Clemens Hall and The Commons. The event was a success and featured 14 teams playing in a single elimination tournament style. Round 1 narrowed the field to 8 teams after six Best of 3 matches. The Quarterfinals and Semifinals were played in Best of 5 format, and set up the Championship Matchup. The Championship was played Best of 7 Rounds and provided the event's inaugural champion.
CONGRATULATIONS to "A Nickle For Our Pickle " for winning the 2nd annual Dodge-Bull tournament!
