Mission Statement:

The mission of the University Student Alumni Board, the student affiliate of the University at Buffalo Alumni Association, is to actively engage students in the life of the University, to connect students with alumni, and to expose students to the value of maintaining a lifelong relationship with the University.

Vision Statement:

USAB envisions a future where all students and alumni take pride in the University at Buffalo and choose to remain active and involved in support of the University.  USAB sponsors many activities including Oozfest, Dodgebull, J. Scott Fleming Scholarships, diploma frame sales and activities that bring students and alumni together for connections and career networking.

Strategic Initiatives:

Student-Alumni Connections

Establish meaningful connections between students and alumni as a way to get both groups more involved in the life of the University.

UB Alumni Association Ambassadors

Serve as ambassadors for the UB Alumni Association to increase student awareness and appreciation of the UB Alumni Association and the value of remaining connected to the University after graduation.

Leadership Development

Foster the development of leadership skills to build a base of future alumni support for the University and the UB Alumni Association.

Pride and Tradition

Promote awareness and support of the history and traditions of the University as a way to establish a lifelong relationship to the University.

Community Service

Engage students in meaningful community service to develop and strengthen a connection with the University and the greater community.
