Students who are accepted into the program will be matched with a successful local business, non-profit or government leader to learn about leadership in the real world. Throughout the day, participants typically tour the mentor's worksite, attend meetings, meet the mentor's staff/employees and talk with the mentor about leadership styles and developing leadership skills. Participants will spend the day with their assigned mentor and attend a reception with all REALM participants. Brought to you by the Leadership Development Center. UBAA provides the alumni mentors.

We provide the food and drinks, parents and students bring their questions about UB life, and graduates bring the memories about their college experience. Events are held in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Long Island and NYC.
